The above slide was created in early 2009 as we were in the middle of a financial crisis now called The Great Recession, as housing and stock market values dropped dramatically. As I counseled clients, family and friends, I had them focus on Life's Important STUFF. That became my focus from that day forward to remind everyone to focus on the basics, to build a strong foundation in their life and with their finances, and that is they take care of the important stuff, everything else is secondary.
